Border Security Force Inspector General DK Upadhyay has expressed surprise at the allegations levelled on the force by BSF jawan Tej Bahadur in a viral video. In the video, Bahadur alleged that “corrupt officials” were siphoning off the supplies meant for the soldiers.<br />In a press conference on 10 January, Upadhay accused Bahadur of having levelled the allegations for a “different intention”.<br />“He (Bahadur) indulged in indisciplinary actions, was to be court-martialled in 2010,” Upadhyay said, adding that leniency had been shown to the jawan keeping his family in mind.<br />“DIG-level officers who have visited the camp in past have never received any complaint regarding allegations levelled in the video,” he said.<br /><br />Video: ANI<br />Music: Big Bang Fuzz
